 Deposit Policy

Why must I place a deposit down?

Most of my time slots are booked by clients who have standing appointments. I need to be assured anyone new booking is serious about seeing me and not taking a spot that one of my established clients could have.

Your deposit will go toward the massage session. It is refundable if you cancel your session one week before your scheduled session. After that, the deposit is non-refundable but can be used to book another session.

Where will my massage session take place?

I have a massage studio set up in my home which offers a serene and comfortable environment. A shower is also available. I provide towels, soap, shampoo, and deodorant, but you are welcome to bring your own toiletries. 

When should I arrive for my appointment?

If it's your first time visiting, I suggest you arrive 10 minutes early so we can discuss your massage session. If you are a returning client, I suggest 5 minutes before your session to give you time to prep.

What if I arrive late for my appointment?

Your appointment has been reserved especially for you. Arriving late will simply limit the time for your treatment. Your treatment will end on time so that the next client is not waiting.

What if I need to cancel my appointment?

If you need to cancel your session please TEXT within 24 hours of your scheduled session. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice or a missed appointment will require you to pay the session fee prior to any scheduling of future massage session.  

Why don't you book appointments by email?

I’ve learned over the years that scheduling by email is not efficient. When a client emails about scheduling a session and when I get the opportunity to check my email, usually the time they wanted has been booked by a person by phone.  

What kind of payments do you accept?

I accept cash, Zelle, and Cashapp.  I do not accept checks or credit cards.

When should I not get a massage?

In my opinion there are few conditions which would prevent you from enjoying massage. You should not book a massage if you have a fever, cold/flu, or contagious skin infection. Also, if you have recently been injured due to a car accident or sport activity, it's best to get your physician's approval before receiving a massage.

What kind of massage lotion do you use?

I use Massage FX Cream. It is non-scented and does not leave an oily or sticky residue on your skin. With a blend of sweet almond oil and sunflower oil, it is infused with the botanical extracts of ivy, arnica and aloe, making it extremely beneficial for your skin. If you prefer  massage oil I use coconut oil.  not
